Canon EF 100-300mm f/5.6 L

Telephoto Zoom Lens for Canon SLR Cameras

Canon EF 100-300mm f/5.6 L

Canon EF 100-300mm f/5.6 L

While this lens was discontinued by Canon, the lens continues to remain popular in the used market; mainly due to the fact that it’s still considered an affordable L lens. This lens is of the push-pull variety, which may feel a little unusual to those not used to this method of zooming. It is convenient for quick zooming, however it takes some experience to zoom accurately with this lens. Despite the age of this lenses build, the contrast quality is still considered exceptional, even by today’s standards. The build is not as sturdy as the newer L series lens, however what it loses in build quality, it makes up for in affordability for what is still considered an exceptional lens.

This lens has been discontinued by the manufacturer but can still be found via the Canon 100-300mm f 5.6 L Lens auction watch page!
